Injured driver extricated after 3-car crash in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. – A driver was injured and required extrication from their vehicle following a three-car crash that took place in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 on Thursday evening, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).

A 30-year-old man was travelling east on I-90 around 5:44 p.m. in a Jeep, when traffic came to a stop ahead of him, near milepost 282. WSP officials reported that the Jeep collided with the back of a Kia Sorento, pushing the car into the back of the Chevy Silverado in front of it.

The driver of the Kia, a 58-year-old woman from Spokane Valley, was injured in the collision and had to be extricated by emergency responders before she was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center…
