Spokane County launches new emergency alert system following cyber attack

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane County Emergency Management has launched a new mass notification system after the previous provider suffered irreparable damage from a cyber attack.

The relaunched ALERT Spokane system, powered by Regroup Mass Notification technology, replaces CodeRED and delivers real-time alerts during emergencies through text messages, email, mobile app alerts and voice calls.
