3 sentenced in international kidnapping of Pullman toddler taken to Mexico

SPOKANE, Wash. — Three people involved in the international kidnapping of a 2-year-old from Pullman to Mexico were sentenced to prison Wednesday.

According to court documents from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, Aaron Aung was sentenced to three years in prison and three years of supervised release.

Aung’s father, Jaimes Tin Aung, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison and two years of supervised release. Aung’s fiancée, Nadia Cole, was sentenced to six months in prison and one year of supervised release…
