SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane drivers can expect delays in a few areas of town, as several road work projects kicked off today.
According to a news release from the city, the affected areas include the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Washington Street, Market Street and Columbia Avenue near the Hillyard Aquatic Center and Nevada Street and Cozza Drive.
The work downtown is focused on resurfacing 3rd Avenue. Drivers can expect lanes reductions and congestion eastbound on 3rd Avenue between Lincoln Street and McClellan Street and southbound on Washington Street between 5th Avenue and 2nd Avenue.
