Months after opening its new, nearly $40 million community center in January, the city of Conroe continues to battle construction and structural issues at the 87,000-square-foot facility.
“We’ve had quite a few issues over there and we are still taking care of them,” Charles Purvis, assistant director of the city’s community development office, told council members Thursday, adding that the city is still in the warranty phase for the construction.
