Two teenagers accused of participating in a 2025 mass shooting in southeast Houston that killed two people and wounded 15 others have been arrested and are being held on capital murder charges.
Jaquavian Alfred, 18, and Joseph Raines, 19, were arrested May 22 and May 29, respectively, according to the Houston Police Department. They were arrested by members of the South Gessner Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team and the U.S. Marshals Service, police said.
