Burglary crew tied to break-ins across several counties in southeast Texas has been taken down: MCSO

A burglary crew tied to a string of break-ins across Southeast Texas has been taken down, authorities announced.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation started after deputies connected a suspect vehicle from a burglary at a Shell gas station in The Woodlands to its owner, Tyrese Nicholas. As investigators dug deeper, they said they discovered the same vehicle and suspects were also linked to a burglary at a Tractor Supply store in Conroe that happened the same night.

From there, investigators said they uncovered a multi-county crime spree spanning across Montgomery, Harris, Walker, and Grimes counties. The suspect vehicle was eventually located in Houston, and the group was also connected to burglaries in Navasota, Huntsville, and Willis, authorities said…
