Connected food and entertainment spots PKL Social and FM Kitchen & Bar say it’s business as usual after the Houston Business Journal reported the landlord of their 1112 Shepherd Dr. address had put the property up for sale.
“To our knowledge, the landlord is exploring some options on the real estate side, but the PKL concept and our operations remain unchanged,” a representative told Chron Monday.
It’s the latest update on the business since PKL Social and FM Kitchen consolidated operations back in July 2025. CultureMap Houston reported PKL took over the FM space next door after a banner first year. The move combined the sibling businesses’ pickleball courts, TV-watching spaces, and food-and-beverage menus.
