A body pulled from the banks of Buffalo Bayou near downtown Houston last week has been identified as 73-year-old Carl “Clint” Mueller, a man who had been missing for nearly two weeks after last being seen near the 1400 block of Saint Joseph Parkway on July 30. Mueller’s daughter told the Chronicle she is still searching for answers and struggling to process the news, asking who caused her father’s death. “I loved my father and wish I had more time with him,” she said, and asked people to pray for her family. Her question about what caused his death remains unresolved: police observed no obvious signs of trauma at the scene, but that alone does not rule out other causes.
