The Rotary Club of Conroe will hear from Conroe Police Chief Jon Buckholtz relating to his office’s crime-fighting tactics.
Conroe PD in conjunction with Conroe Fire Department jointly use several drones to approach fires and crime scenes in progress to establish what levels of responses are to be made. In addition, Conroe has Flock cameras to assist in tracking stolen vehicles and locating missing persons along with other crime-fighting/life-saving techniques. All are invited to hear what Chief Buckholtz has to say about how Conroe is going to take a bite out of crime. Yes, Conroe PD also has trained dogs. They also have a SWAT Team, remote mobile office center, and more. This meeting will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 25, starting at noon at Honor Café.
