A suspected vehicle-theft crew picked a bad morning to visit Houston’s Garden Oaks neighborhood. Three men ended up under arrest, a fourth remained on the run, and deputies recovered a laptop they believe was being used to copy vehicle key fobs.
The Office of Constable Alan Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct 1 said deputies caught the suspects in the act while investigating a ring targeting newer vehicles, including a 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe. The case was still under investigation, with additional charges possible.
The Tahoe’s owner had purchased it only a little more than a week earlier. She told KHOU 11 that she woke around 3:45 a.m. to flashlights outside and discovered a deputy near her home with the Tahoe running in her driveway…
