The city of Conroe has agreed to purchase the water-related subsidiaries of Mid-South Electric Cooperative Association to help address current water and wastewater issues west of the city.
Following an executive session, the council unanimously agreed to move forward with financing and offering documents. The city will fund the purchase by selling water and sewer revenue bonds.
