On February 9, 2024, Quendarious Emerson was arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on November 21, 2023, at 3400 Cavalcade Street. Emerson, 26, faces two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The victims, a 33-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, are recovering from their injuries.
Detectives V. Gamez and P. Ungaro from the Houston Police Department’s Major Assaults & Family Violence Division responded to the incident. They found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.
Emerson was identified as the suspect during the initial investigation. He was charged on December 19, 2023. Further investigation revealed Emerson’s location.
Emerson was arrested on February 7, 2024, without incident and booked into the Harris County Jail. A booking photo of Emerson has been released.
With Emerson’s arrest, the investigation into the November shooting at 3400 Cavalcade Street progresses. The victims and their families are awaiting justice.
