The Yankees enjoyed a day off yesterday, traveling home after a four-game split in Toronto and looking ahead to a three-game set with the Reds this week. Almost the entire league joined them, with just three games played on a conspicuously light Monday slate. There was just one American League matchup on the docket, which has to make yesterday the slimmest AL slate we’ll see all year.
