Suspicious male arrested for parole violation and meth possession

HOUSTON, Texas – A man was arrested for a parole violation and possession of methamphetamine after deputies investigated a suspicious person, authorities said.During an investigation in the 100 block of South Magnolia Street, Harris County Constable Precinct 3 deputies made contact with Robin Schmidt. Schmidt, who had an open warrant for a parole violation with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, was taken into custody, according to a press release from the department.After his arrest, Schmidt was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Charges for possession of a controlled substance were accepted by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Schmidt was transported and booked into the Harris County Jail without incident.
