Sandy Paws Rescue, a dedicated foster-based dog rescue in Massachusetts, recently introduced a young six-month-old puppy named Canelo who is searching for his forever family. According to the nonprofit rescue, Canelo’s journey began on the streets of Houston, where he was found abandoned alongside his mother Luna Sunny, and siblings Cassy, Lawna, and Zorrillo. Thanks to the compassion of a local woman who offered to foster them, these dogs were given a second chance at life.
At just six months old, Canelo is described by Sandy Paws Rescue as an energetic and cuddly puppy. While he is still working on his house training and crate skills, the rescue notes that he shows improvement daily. His loving personality shines through in his habit of showing his belly to everyone he meets. “Canelo will be a great addition to any family since he is a sweet and friendly boy,” explains Sandy Paws Rescue.
