HOUSTON – A puppy was washed into a storm drain and became stuck. Now the Humane Society is looking to reunite the dog with its owner, or find it a good home. A couple walking in Pearland heard the terrier mix’s cries on Wednesday, Christmas Day. They alerted the Pearland Fire Department. They saw the puppy, but later lost sight of the animal. They returned the next day and successfully freed the pup. It had minor injuries.
