Precinct 8 Deputy S. Margison was on patrol and conducted a traffic stop in the 11800 block of the Gulf Fwy. service road for a vehicle that ran a red light. The driver was identified as 19 year old Juan Pablo Zapata of Houston.
During the stop, Zapata’s information was checked through local and national databases and he was found to have an active Terroristic Threat warrant out of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. The warrant was confirmed to be active, and Zapata was placed in custody. Zapata was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center without further incident.
