Austin, Texas has its share of great bar-b-que options for both the locals and tourists to enjoy, but there is one particular restaurant that has mastered being the top spot in Texas periodically. Now, that Southern Living has named their favorite BBQ restaurant for the fourth year in a row in the Lone Star State as the same place, you might begin to wonder if they have created a new tradition just as revered as Texas’s love for slow cooked meat.
My cousin Matt and his wife Liz plan on visiting us this weekend while they are enjoying a short stay in Austin, and their only request is finding the best bar-b-que they can, and eating as much of it as possible.
