SPRING, Texas — A 22-year-old man was arrested for trafficking a minor after being found with a 14-year-old runaway in the Imperial Oaks Subdivision, according to the Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constable’s Office. The incident occurred on March 24, 2025, around 11:15 p.m.
Constable Ryan Gable’s patrol unit discovered the vehicle occupied by Curtis Turner Chlebus, of Spring, Texas, and the minor, who was identified as a runaway from Freeport, Texas. The Pct. 3 Human Trafficking Unit was called to the scene to take over the investigation. Detectives revealed that Chlebus had picked up the girl, engaged in sexual acts with her, and brought her to the subdivision.
Chlebus was charged with Trafficking a Person Engaging in Sexual Conduct and was arrested at the scene. He was taken to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail for booking. The juvenile was safely recovered, her guardian was notified, and she was taken to a local hospital for medical care…
