One person died after an “accidental discharge” of a gun at the Top Gun Range in west Houston , according to the Houston Fire Department.
A spokesperson for HFD said firefighters and EMS were dispatched around 1:30 p.m. to the Top Gun Range, 5901 Beverly Hill St., after people at the business reported hearing a gun shot in the men’s restroom. Firefighters broke the door down, and found one person dead by an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Houston Police Department also responded, and a spokesperson said officers believed the shooting was an accidental discharge.
