Cinco de Mayo has become one of the holidays most associated with impaired driving, with nearly one-third of traffic crashes involving a drunk driver. In response, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the launch of a multi-agency DWI Task Force to combat impaired driving and enhance public safety on our roadways.
Under the leadership of Sheriff Wesley Doolittle, law enforcement agencies from across Montgomery and Harris Counties—representing 16 partner agencies—are joining forces with one clear message: safety, cooperation, and compliance with the law are paramount. Those who choose to drive under the influence will be held accountable and face arrest.
