The Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office has arrested two individuals, Amber Gardner, 41, and Steven Lambert, 45, both of New Caney, following an investigation into fraud and narcotics offenses.
The investigation began on April 17, 2025, after the Precinct 4 Criminal Investigations Division received an anonymous tip. With assistance from the Patrol Division, deputies located Gardner and Lambert together in a vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near State Loop 494.
During the traffic stop, deputies allegedly discovered a large quantity of sensitive personal information, including hundreds of stolen credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and forged checks.
