Woman Allegedly Faked Airport Bomb Threat to Get Back at Ex-Boyfriend

Authorities in Texas are hunting for a woman who allegedly called in a bomb threat to an airport in an apparent bid to get revenge on her ex-boyfriend.

According to charging documents reviewed by Men’s Journal , authorities in Harris County, Texas, are searching for 25-year-old Trekalon Price after she allegedly called in a bomb threat to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (GBIA). Price allegedly claimed that her 38-year-old ex-boyfriend, who was flying into GBIA later that day, was “going to bomb” both GBIA and Cedar Rapids Airport in Iowa. Authorities say Price also alleged he was going to “shoot up the place” before giving a physical description of her ex, along with his name and phone number. Price made a similar call to Cedar Rapids Airports, claiming her ex “had made statements about shooting at the Cedar Rapids Airport or using a bomb” and alleging that he was carrying a gun on him.

When authorities located the unidentified 38-year-old man, he was “in disbelief,” according to the documents. “It was at this point in the investigation” that authorities concluded the man “was not the defendant but rather a witness,” the documents state.
