Houston and much of Harris County have picked up an inch or two of much-needed rain since late last week after repeated rounds of heavy rainfall and storms.
The southward trend of heavy rainfall actually began Wednesday, but it’s expected to continue into Thursday before rain chances become more hit-or-miss across the region.
An active radar early this morning, mainly for areas south of I-10. Strong thunderstorms are moving along the coastal areas, producing heavy downpours, frequent lightning, gusty winds and small hail.
