The Spring Independent School District Board of Trustees on Tuesday unanimously approved a new compensation plan for the 2025–26 school year, which includes general pay increases for teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff members across the district.
As part of the approved plan:
- Current teachers, librarians, and interventionists with 0–4 years of experience will receive a $2,725 general pay increase
- Those with 5 or more years of experience will receive a $5,000 general pay increase
- All other employee groups will receive a general pay increase of 4% based on the midpoint of their salary range.
In addition to salary increases, the district is offering a $1,000 benefit incentive for all returning full-time employees, with payment scheduled for Nov. 25, and two wellness days as part of its ongoing effort to support staff health and wellbeing.
“As we continue to invest in our Spring employees, we want to ensure our compensation remains competitive and rewarding,” said Spring ISD Board of Trustees president Justine Durant. “Our teachers, support staff, and administrators are the driving force behind student success, and this compensation plan reflects our appreciation for their work.”…
