The Houston Independent School District’s board of managers approved a five-year contract extension for Superintendent Mike Miles on Thursday night.
According to the contract, beginning July 1, Mike Miles will receive $462,000 annually and can earn bonuses of up to $231,000, depending on his performance. His new salary is $82,000 higher than before.
