Mexican Toilet Paper Maker Breaks Ground in Houston

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) — GCP Paper, a Mexico-based manufacturer of private label toilet paper and other products, has broken ground on a 565,765-SF manufacturing facility in New Caney northeast of Houston.

The campus, at 19685 Emerald Lane in the East Montgomery Industrial Park, will serve as the company’s flagship U.S. location. It will be built on 32 acres near FM 1485 West and Gene Campbell Road, about 35 miles north of downtown Houston.

Founded in 2001, GCP Paper expanded internationally in 2021 to Houston as the demand for toilet paper increased during the pandemic. The company makes products such as toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, and facial tissues for customers such as grocers that sell it under their brand…
