Hunt for Trio Suspected of Early Morning Robbery at South Houston Convenience Store

Authorities are on the lookout for three male suspects following an early morning robbery at a South Houston convenience store on May 21. According to a report by the Houston Police, the incident took place around 5:20 am when a man, seemingly a customer, entered the store at the 6900 block of Bellfort and engaged the clerk with a question about shirts, which made the clerk exit his secure area.

The distraction allowed two other armed suspects to enter. As the clerk tried to retreat to the secure area, he was attacked and forcibly prevented from closing the door, after which the money was taken from the safe. The suspects escaped in a silver sedan that was waiting in the parking lot.

The first suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes, while the second suspect also wore a black hoodie but with black shorts and black shoes, and the third was in a plaid shirt paired with black pants.
