Authorities in Houston are reaching out to the public for help in identifying a man involved in a recent theft at a local drug store. The incident, which occurred on the evening of June 27, quickly escalated from shoplifting to robbery when the suspect threatened an employee.
The events transpired at a drug store situated on the 7100 block of Beechnut in Houston, Texas. According to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division, the male suspect, recognized by a store employee as a repeat shoplifter, grabbed various items and attempted to leave the store without paying. Upon being confronted, the individual threatened the employee, compelling the worker to step aside, the suspect then left the premises on foot.
The description of the suspect has been provided as a Black male, with a thin build, clothed in a gray and navy shirt, blue Nike shorts, and black shoes.
