For the first time in the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival’s more than 30-year history, the October event will take place outside of downtown Conroe.
From Oct. 10-12 the annual event will take place at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Festival co-chairman Mark Taylor said the move not only breathes new life into the 36-year-old festival but brings new opportunities to grow the event.
