Hundreds of pet lovers descended on NRG Arena on Saturday with one goal in mind: to leave with a new furry friend.
Petco Love, a nonprofit arm of the pet supply retailer, kicked off its fifth Mega Adoption Saturday morning, a two-day event featuring more than 1,600 puppies, kittens, cats and dogs.
