HOUSTON (KIAH) — A fatal 18-wheeler that has caught fire is blocking all traffic on Highway 90-A near Fondren Road on Saturday morning.
The crash happened around 9:20 a.m. Saturday on South Main Street near Fondren. An 18-wheeler carrying around 8,800 gallons of fuel crashed into the side of the southbound shoulder. The driver was declared dead at the scene, the Houston Fire Department said.
One firefighter was transported to Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center for heat exhaustion, HFD said…
