Authorities in Houston are seeking the public’s aid in identifying two individuals linked to a robbery incident at a local store, where a shoplifting episode escalated into a more serious confrontation. The crime took place late in the evening on July 24, 2025, as reported by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division. The Houston Police Department’s official release details that around 9:50 pm, a man and a woman entered the establishment situated in the 6900 block of Airport Boulevard and began to conceal merchandise.
During the attempted theft, the store employee confronted the pair as they attempted to exit with the goods. The altercation turned violent when the female suspect reportedly assaulted the employee, and the suspects then fled in their vehicle with the stolen items. The crime, assigned the case number HPD #964944-25, has led to an appeal for assistance from Crime Stoppers of Houston, encouraging anyone with information to step forward.
