HOUSTON — A 64-year-old man will spend more than six years behind bars after he was convicted in a Medicare fraud and identity theft scheme, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Paul Njoku, 64, was the owner and operator of the home health care agency in Houston, Opnet Health Care Services Inc.
The DOJ said Njoku had forged signatures for doctors and nurses to create false documents to bill Medicare for fraudulent services. He was also accused of bribing a doctor to approve home health services…
