Second suspect charged in fatal Houston shooting

HOUSTON, Texas — Charges have been filed against a second suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man and the wounding of another individual at 5410 North Braeswood Boulevard on May 24.

Miles Julian Edwards, a 19-year-old, is facing charges of capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Houston Police Department.

Another suspect, 18-year-old Zion Armon Mitchell, is also charged with capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 482nd and 183rd Criminal District Courts, respectively. The victim has been identified as Kenneth Leaks, age 18…
