SAN ANTONIO – A MacArthur High School teacher tragically died on campus Thursday morning after suffering a medical emergency during first period, according to school officials.
In a letter sent to families, Principal Hernandez said the campus was placed on a brief hold while EMS responded to the emergency. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the teacher did not survive.
“It’s with a heavy heart that I regret to inform you, he did not survive,” Hernandez wrote. “I am refraining from using his name until I have been made aware that all the family members have been notified.”…
