As students return to classrooms this fall, Spring Independent School District (Spring ISD) is celebrating tangible progress made this summer on projects funded by the voter-approved 2022 Bond. From early construction activity at new district facilities to planned safety and systems improvements across campuses, the work reflects a community-backed investment in long-term success.
“The transformative work completed this summer through Bond 2022 is more than just infrastructure, it is a promise to our students and our community,” said Superintendent Dr. Kregg Cuellar. “Every new classroom, every updated space, and every safety upgrade reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence. This year, we step forward with purpose, showing exactly who we are: We are Spring—together in culture, together in accountability.”
The $850 million bond package, approved by voters in November 2022, includes three major propositions:
- Proposition A: Facility improvements, including a complete rebuild of Spring High School and renovations at several campuses.
- Proposition B: The construction of the new EPIC (Education, Performance and Instruction Center).
- Proposition C: Technology upgrades districtwide.
