HOUSTON — A tiny kitten is safe and sound after firefighters in Atascocita pulled it from a storm drain over the weekend.
According to Atascocita Fire Department spokesperson Jerry Dillard, a group of joggers called 911 after hearing faint cries coming from a storm drain along Kings River Road.
When firefighters from Station 19 got there, they confirmed the sound was a kitten in distress. Crews worked quickly to remove two manhole covers before two firefighters carefully helped push the kitten out of the sewer…
