Adoptive mother receives 10-year prison sentence after 7-year-old found dead in washing machine

SPRING, Texas (Gray News) – An adoptive mother in Texas received her prison sentence last week after her adopted son was found dead in a washing machine in 2022.

Tiffany Thomas was convicted of injury to a child by omission and sentenced to 10 years in prison, according to KHOU.

In July, her husband, 45-year-old Jermaine Thomas, was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the murder of 7-year-old Troy Khoeler.
