Conroe, TX – Deputies in Montgomery County have arrested two suspects accused of carrying out a week-long retail theft spree in The Woodlands, authorities said Thursday.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Ruben Flores and Jasmine Bishop were arrested after deputies responded to a theft-in-progress call at Macy’s, located at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. Investigators say the suspects were accompanied by their juvenile daughter at the time.
Officials allege the pair carried out four separate thefts in The Woodlands over the course of one week, causing an estimated $5,000 in losses for local retailers. Deputies were able to recover about $1,200 in stolen merchandise during the arrests…
