Explosion at Conroe crime evidence incinerator sends staff member to hospital, MCSO says

Multiple staff members were treated, and one was taken to the hospital after multiple explosions at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab evidence incinerator, officials say.

The Conroe Fire Department said it was called to the Montgomery County Jail on Wednesday morning for an explosion. They added that crews set up a decontamination area while hazmat technicians gathered samples to determine the cause of the blast.
