‘It’s just scary:’ Witness recounts plane crash in Louisiana that killed 3 Houston-area people

LAFAYETTE, La. (KIAH) — A witness saw a plane crash in Louisiana that killed three people from the Houston area, as he saw the small plane falling from the sky.

A Beechcraft Baron a twin-engine airplane crashed into a field in Lafayette Parish at 11 a.m. Tuesday, killing three people. The victims were identified as Bruce Verduyn, 58, Lydia Laws, 46, and Justin Ramsey, 42. All three were from The Woodlands and Spring.

The falling plane narrowly missed hitting some homes in the area, along with a church and a couple of businesses…
