Houston squeezes in last dry day ahead of heavy weekend rainfall. Here’s a timeline

After going nearly a full month without measurable rainfall in Houston, many of us are happy to contend with high humidity if it means finally seeing some decent rainfall.

Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston’s official climate observation site, last recorded measurable rainfall on Sept. 24. Since then, the airport has logged only a “trace” of rain, meaning the pavement was dampened, and that’s about it.
