A Montgomery County man is in jail tonight, after authorities say he tried to make a fiery escape as law enforcement moved in to arrest him on various serious charges.
Authorities say Tywes Null was near his home in Willis when they tried to arrest him for sexual assault of a child Tuesday evening. But instead of surrendering peacefully, he tried to make a run for it.
In video you’ll only see on ABC13, Null appears to ram into a gas pump at the Shell station on East Loop 336 in Conroe. In the daylight, the area was still cordoned off. The damage to the gas station is extensive, and the family that owns it is uncertain how long it will take to make repairs…
