Two Montgomery County workers were handed a flyer, which tested positive for fentanyl, according to law enforcement. A 2024 study found fentanyl exposure is somewhat common.
Montgomery County law enforcement said two county employees may have had fentanyl poisoning after they were handed a paper that later tested positive for the opioid. However, doctors say such exposures may not actually be fentanyl poisoning.
On Oct. 28, Montgomery County Constable Rowdy Hayden wrote in a Facebook post that two county employees were at the RB Tullis Library in New Caney when they were “approached by a female in the parking lot, who handed them a flyer, which they observed to be damp and have a pink tint.”
