TxDOT delays major I-10 construction as part of White Oak Bayou Elevation Project for second time

A major lane switch that was initially scheduled for Nov. 7 to reduce I-10 to two lanes of traffic has been postponed for the second time, TxDOT announced Wednesday.

According to TxDOT, a stretch of I-10 westbound, from the I-45 North Freeway to Houston Avenue, will be reduced to two lanes to facilitate the completion of the multi-million-dollar White Oak Bayou Elevation Project.
