Former Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg appeared on a conservative podcast Monday where she praised Mayor John Whitmire for the city’s cooporation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Whitmire, for months, has denied that Houston police officers would be involved with immigration enforcement. But on Saturday during a conference hosted by Bill King of Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, Whitmire turned the tables and confirmed the city was working with the federal agency.
