The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, South County Command, is crediting quick investigative work after more than twenty vehicles were targeted in early-morning burglaries across two apartment complexes in The Woodlands.
Around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, deputies received multiple reports of Burglary of Motor Vehicles at 333 Holly Creek and 4545 South Panther Creek. The Woodlands Township Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) launched an immediate investigation and quickly identified a suspect vehicle connected to the offenses.
Within 10 hours, CRU deputies identified the suspect as Cornelius Graves and obtained an arrest warrant. The following morning, on Thursday, November 20, around 8:30 a.m., Graves was located in Harris County and taken into custody with assistance from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. The arrest came roughly 30 hours after the first reports were made.
