KLEIN, Texas — About 100 homes in the Klein area were damaged when a storm swept through the community this week, forcing many families to spend Thanksgiving cleaning up rather than gathering around the table, Precinct 4 constables said Tuesday.
Residents described a chaotic scene as strong winds tore apart homes with little warning. Cleanup crews and neighbors spent the day clearing debris while law enforcement increased patrols to keep the area safe.
